Planning permission (part-outline, part-full) was obtained for a residential enabling development of 88 dwellings on surplus land at Cheshunt School to forward-fund major planned infrastructure improvements to the school including the construction of a two-storey teaching block and provision of internal/external sports facilities. The Council agreed to fully relax its affordable housing requirements to facilitate the priority investment in the education infrastructure.
