School planning permissions and major housing development instructions
Planning permission has been secured for new school developments in Lewisham (as an amended scheme) and Wandsworth. We have also been instructed on two major housing-led developments in Tower Hamlets and are also now advising on the potential for greenfield housing development on a large hotel site in South East England.

DfE school framework appointments
RENEW Planning Limited has been exclusively retained to provide planning consultancy advice to two of the appointed contractors on the Department for Education’s new offsite construction framework for the design and build of offsite schools and other educational establishments predicated on the use of modular and modern methods of construction. The DfE programme will deliver some 30 offsite schools a year with a projected pipeline of up to £3bn over the next 4 years. The appointments will be for the 4 years’ duration of the DfE contract award.

Major Housing Estate Renewal instruction
We have been instructed on a major housing estate regeneration scheme in East London, a commercial sports centre development on a school site in Hertfordshire and school developments in Hornchurch, Norwich, Doncaster and Epping. Planning permission was secured for a mixed-residential and community use development in Tower Hamlets and school developments in Doncaster, Birmingham and Kettering.

Major Isle of Dogs Housing Development Approved
We have secured planning permission for a mixed residential (22 units) and community centre development on the Isle of Dogs and have been instructed on a major housing estate renewal project in East London and a nationally significant development project in the north of England, which details we will be able to disclose in a future news update. Planning permissions have also been secured another one of our DfE procured school developments in Sowerby, with a further three school development applications pending Council decisions.
