Outline planning permission was granted unanimously for a major mixed-use development on a 25 hectares greenfield site forming part of the historic Wynnstay Estate comprising up to 319 homes, a Class A1 discount foodstore and up to 20,393m2 gross of Class A3, B1, B8, C1 and C2 use. This is one of the largest single regeneration projects proposed in the region for many years and is earmarked to generate over 1,250 jobs to the benefit of the wider economy.
