Planning permission was granted on behalf of Regal Homes for an exclusive residential development of 10 x 3-bedroom flats on a site formerly used for part-educational purposes situated directly opposite Hendon Park. The Council agreed to relax its planning policy protection for the education use and also conceded a full relaxation of its affordable housing requirements based on the financial viability evidence.
